Cake Batter Blondies

1 box yellow cake mix 1/4 cup canola oil 1 egg1/2 cup milk   1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles 1/2 cup white chocolate chips Combine the first four ingredients in a large bowl. Add the milk slowly – you want the batter to remain as dense as possible. Then mix in the rainbow sprinkles and white chocolate chips. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until the edges become golden brown.

S'mores Milkshake

-Take about 12 regular sized marshmallows (or more!) and broil them in the oven for 2-3 minutes. Watch these babies closely or they might catch on fire. And don’t be tempted to use mini-mallows. They won’t give you the right char-to-goo ey-mallow ratio. -Let the marshmallows cool. Then blend them with two cups of vanilla ice cream and one cup of milk. -Pour into glasses and garnish with a toasted marshmallow. Take a big sip and you’ll be speechless.

Popsicle Brownies

Delicious popsicle brownies: a very easy treat to surprise to your guests for a summer party! What do you need? Brownies Color candies for melt Popsicle sticks Sprinkles Prepare the brownies according to your favorite recipe and let it cool. Cut them in half horizontally and 12 equal bars. Place the sticks on the side and put them on a sheet of wax paper. Melt colour chips in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until it looks smooth and well melted. Divide the mix on the surface and sides of the brownies (or can be entirely submerged) and then place the topping as a final decoration.
Cake Batter Rice Krispies Recipe (From How Sweet Eats ) Ingredients: 3 Tbsp. butter 1 (10 oz.) bag of mini-marshmallows 1/4 cup yellow cake mix 6 cups crispy rice cereal 1 (1.75 oz.) container of sprinkles Method: Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat and add marshmallows. Stir until they begin to melt, adding in cake mix one spoonful at a time so its combined. Stir in cereal so it is completely coated with marshmallow mixture. Sprinkle in half of the sprinkles and mix. Press into a baking dish (any size will do) and top with remaining sprinkles. Let sit for about 30 minutes before cutting. I find spraying a knife with nonstick spray helps to cut them. Tip: I actually increased the cake batter to 1/3 cup for my recipe to give it a little extra cake batter kick (the 1/4 cup seemed just a little too subtle to me), but add as much in as you like!
I saw this genius idea in "The Mailbox" Magazine where you make your own coconut tree, attach it to a baking sheet, and use magnetic lowercase letters to reinact the story with your child. Materials you will need: -Metal baking sheet (the tree isn't permanently attached so will have your pan back for baking, I promise!) -green sheet of card stock paper -brown sheet of card stock paper -pencil -scissors -tape -magnetic lowercase letters (I had a hard time finding these in my local stores so I ended up purchasing them on ebay for cheap) Directions: 1. Take the green sheet of card stock paper and use your pencil to sketch the top of a coconut tree. See my picture below. If you have a difficult time with this, you could always do a google search for "coconut tree clip art", print one out and trace it on your paper. 2. Cut out your sketch of the top of the coconut tree. 3. Use your brown sheet of card stock paper and cut out a rectangle piece...
Goldfish Cheddar Crackers 1 cup(s) all-purpose flour 4 tablespoon(s) cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces (I used salted butter, but didn’t add any salt afterward) 8 ounce(s) grated extra-sharp Cheddar cheese (around 2 cups). Note: you can experiment with other cheeses. Some people have tried this and loved the results! 3/4 teaspoon(s) salt 1/8 teaspoon onion powder ( note: this is optional since it isn’t part of the original recipe, but I decided to add anyway since I used it) 1/2 teaspoon(s) fresh-ground pepper 1 teaspoon baking powder Directions Pulse the flour, onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and pepper together using a food processor. Add the butter and cheese, and pulse until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Pulse in 3 to 4 tablespoons of water, 1 tablespoon at a time, and only enough so that the dough forms a ball and rides the blade. Remove, wrap in plastic, and chill for 20 minutes (I put it in th...

S'mores Popcorn

Because roasting a marshmallow isn't always an option... I decided I would try to make some S'mores Popcorn.     Ingredients: 1/2 box of Golden Graham cereal 1/2 bag of miniature marshmallows 1 & 1/2 bags of Tender White Orville Redenbacher Popcorn a whole bag (of course ;) of chocolate chips - melted meaning = that's only 4 ingredients to a salty, sweet, very chocolaty treat.           Pop your popcorn. Blend your cereal, popcorn & marshmallows in a bowl.  If you're like me, you wont have a bowl big enough for all the dry goods - so I blended the dry ingredients twice. Melt your chocolate in a microwaveable bowl.

Mini Cherry Pies

It's completely different from any store-bought or restaurant cherry pies I've ever tried. I really hate cherry pie, actually, except for this one! So if you usually steer clear of sour, gooey, thick kinds of pie, you should give this a try. If you like that kind of thing, you might hate this. But I doubt anyone could hate this pie! It's phenomenal when it's warm from the oven, or perfect for breakfast straight out of the fridge. If it survives that long! And it takes like two minutes to throw together. I usually don't even measure the ingredients. Just toss 'em in there and bake. If you decide to do a fancy lattice crust on top or the little mini ones like I show here, it will take a while for construction. But so worth it! Cherry Pie Two 9-inch pie crusts (I love Pillsbury!) Two cans of tart red cherries in water (Get these in the canned fruit aisle, not like the pie filling in the baking aisle. The store brand is just as good as the one in...
